Egg Whites

Hello all, lets talk about egg whites!!! yes you read correct egg whites. Eggs in general are good for you and packed with protein but who would have thought eggs would be good for your skin?

Egg Whites are beneficial to the skin when it comes to..
  1. Shrinking pores
  2. Oily skin
  3. Tightening skin
  4. Reducing redness
  5. And most importantly... REDUCING ACNE!!!
One of my favorite facial mask to do at home with egg whites is super easy..here is what I do.
You will need...
egg  (1)                          small bowls (2)
face wash                       a fork
face towel                      toilet tissue (optional)

Start off by separating the egg whites from the egg yoke into the small bowls. once separated take your fork and beat the egg white until it becomes foamy. Once this is complete wash your face.
Be sure that your face is clear from all makeup or any dirt from a busy day. You can use your regular everyday face wash. Once you finish washing your face pat dry with a face towel. After this step I like to splash my face with warm water to open my pores and to give my face that extra moisture before I apply the egg whites. Once all these steps are complete its time for the messy part. Take your beat egg whites and apply them to your face make sure you hit every spot on your face avoiding the eye area. Be generous on your problem areas. Once you have felt as if you have completely saturated the face you can either sit back and relax for about 15-20 to allow the egg white to dry or you can go for the optional next step and apply your toilet tissue stripes to the face in an even amount. after this wait around 20-25 min or until tissue is hard to face. Peel the tissue off and you will probably see blackheads stuck to the tissue. splash your face with cool water, pat dry and apply your favorite moisturizer and voila you have a brighter, tighter, and refreshed face. -AjaHoney

I hope you try this face mask out on your free time. comment below if you have any questions, suggestions or comments.

Campus Style: Spring Edition Pt.1

Hello All, its soon going to be time to head back to your home away from home. which means new classes, new people, new ventures, and greater opportunities. With a new chapter on the uprising in a young adults life what could be better than getting a few style changes or updates? nothing, that's what I was thinking. Well here I am for some fashion tips for you ladies and also some for the gents.

I'm sure your going through the new semester woe of having a completely different class schedule than what you are use too, such as earlier mornings, longer classes, back to back classes, you get where I'm going with this...

For the EARLY MORNING CLASSES
  1. Double check that alarm at night
  2. Try getting your outfit together at night
  3. Make sure your school bag is all put together (books, homework, agendas, pens, pencils, notebooks, etc)
  4. PLAN!! make some notes of the tasks that need to be done the following day
  5. Eat breakfast. If you don't have time to sit and eat try to get some fruit or an on-the-go breakfast
  6. Keep a hygiene safety bag with you with key item's (toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, mints, body spray, brush/comb)
 LONGER CLASSES
  1. Bring an appropriate snack (if allowed)
  2. Try to bring a recorder for those moments you daze off into wonderland
  3. Take abbreviated but precise notes
BACK TO BACK CLASSES
  1. Keep your schedule handy.. you don't want to end up at the wrong class
  2. Know how much time you have between classes whether it be 10, 15, or 20 minutes apart
  3. Try bringing your lunch with you
Now that the preliminary objectives are out the way lets get into the STYLING!!

SHOES
  • Don't be afraid of a good pair of fashionable shoes for those campus walks. you can be stylish yet comfortable.
  • Ladies  steer clear of wearing those club shoes to class...know their place. Instead go for a wedge or chunky heel if you wanted to go for a heel.
  • Your best bet is to go for a cute baby doll flat.

CLOTHING
  • Be aware of wearing too revealing clothes has the temperature starts to warm up.
  • Keep a light sweater or cardigan in your bag (classrooms may be cooler than usual)

ACCESSORIES
  • Don't go overboard
  • Dangling bracelets can cause distractions not only to you but EVERYONE else.
  • Go for school bags that have many compartments. This allows you to store everything accordingly and organized, also you can use it as a purse instead or trying to juggle both bags.

Fur Vest

FUR VEST... is this a fashion do or a fashion don't? wearing fur has been a fashion trend for quite some time now but it has just recently started to become a comfortable fashion piece for many in this present day. Some would say that wearing fur could be a little too "flashy" or "old fashion". Well today I have some tips on how to make it just right for any body type.

For the more curvaceous woman

For the slimmer woman
  • pairing a belt with an extra fluffy vest to cinch in the waist gives the illusion of curves
  • I love the look of a loose dress or skirt with a big furry vest

For the shorter woman
  • fur vest that are of the cropped length or waist length are best if you want to go for the illusion of being taller.
  • wear a fitted shirt that is the a few inches longer than the vest
  • wearing cropped pants with a heel is also a perfect pair for the vest
  •
For the taller woman
  • the bigger the better is the motto to use when it comes to choosing the perfect vest
  • wear with cuffed jeans or distressed boyfriend jeans
  • and a pair of booties never let anyone down

Tips for wearing fur vest in general
  • wearing a shaggy fur vest with a mini skirt and thigh high boost is an absolute fashionista look
  • be bold and wear a print under that fur vest; animal print, geometrical print, color block print, etc.
  • wearing longer vest  as if it was a dress with boots (to die for)
  • throw some bling on with your vest
  • don't be afraid or color when picking a fur vest
